Chalkland Vets have always been there for our furry family, and this time more than ever. We have the upmost trust in Philly and under her guidance, the time came to say goodbye to our precious nearly 14-year-old Labrador, Ralph. Philly showed incredible compassion and empathy, making an incredibly difficult time a little more bearable. Ralph was treated with the gentlest kindness and respect, and we felt completely supported every step of the way. The care, understanding, and patience shown by Philly made all the difference, and we will be forever grateful for the comfort and dignity she provided to Ralph - and to us. Truly a team that treats your pets like family. Thank you Chalkland.

I've only had brief dealings with Chalkland Vets but have been really impressed with the way I have been treated at this difficult time for me. I have five stars because that's what they deserve. My recent visit to get my two dogs vaccinated and checked out was really nice the vet was very efficient and friendly. I'm so glad that I changed to Chalkland Vets.

Sadly we found ourselves turning up at Chalkland Vets waiting for them to open Friday morning. Our 14 year old terrier had had a terrible night & we thought it may be time to say goodbye to her 😢 We were seen straight away (without an appointment) and after examination were told Tilly was suffering with severe abdominal pain in addition to heart, lung and kidney issues The vet we saw gave us the option of further examinations but we didn't want Tilly to suffer any further so decided euthanasia was the kindest thing to do under the circumstances. Tilly was treated with the utmost respect during the process being allowed to sit on my lap with the lights down while she was given a sedative to help her relax and get sleepy. We were given all the time we needed to say goodbye & a notice was even put up to ask other people waiting for appointments to be respectful and keep noise to a minimum until we left which was through a private exit. Thankyou for your kindness and understanding at this difficult time for us.
