I've only had brief dealings with Chalkland Vets but have been really impressed with the way I have been treated at this difficult time for me. I have five stars because that's what they deserve. My recent visit to get my two dogs vaccinated and checked out was really nice the vet was very efficient and friendly. I'm so glad that I changed to Chalkland Vets.

Chalkland are very efficient and caring. My dogs vet Sarah is excellent - she shares information and discusses various options, empowering the client to make their own decisions based on the information.

Sadly we found ourselves turning up at Chalkland Vets waiting for them to open Friday morning. Our 14 year old terrier had had a terrible night & we thought it may be time to say goodbye to her 😢 We were seen straight away (without an appointment) and after examination were told Tilly was suffering with severe abdominal pain in addition to heart, lung and kidney issues The vet we saw gave us the option of further examinations but we didn't want Tilly to suffer any further so decided euthanasia was the kindest thing to do under the circumstances. Tilly was treated with the utmost respect during the process being allowed to sit on my lap with the lights down while she was given a sedative to help her relax and get sleepy. We were given all the time we needed to say goodbye & a notice was even put up to ask other people waiting for appointments to be respectful and keep noise to a minimum until we left which was through a private exit. Thankyou for your kindness and understanding at this difficult time for us.

I’m new to Calne and Chalkland Vets were amazing with our elderly dog Dotty. I would highly recommend them all staff were super friendly and helpful.
